422 ----- Total 584 Candidates for admission to the Freshmen Class are examined in Cicero's Select Orations, the whole of Virgil and Sallust, and the first three books of Xenophon's Anabasis, together with various "Readers," "Exercises," and Grammars. The whole course of instruction occupies four years, each year being divided into three terms or sessions. With regard to expense, the annual charges made by the Treasurer are-- DOLLS. CENTS.
