Article II, Section 4. _The President, Vice-President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors._ Article I, Section 2, Clause 5. _The House of Representatives shall ... have the sole power of impeachment._ Section 3, Clause 6. _The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments.
