VANILLA SAUCE [Illustration] Ingredients 1 cup boiling water 2 teaspoons corn-starch 1 tablespoon butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla little salt Method--Mix the corn-starch with a little cold water and stir into the hot water, boiling five minutes. Put butter, sugar, flavoring and salt into a bowl and pour the thoroughly cooked cornstarch over it, stirring until the sugar and the butter are dissolved.
