christened him âthe Bogleâ at once.
âI boneys that little pink doll with the curly hair, first,â said the girl. She was a round, brown little creature, tooâbut pretty. She had merry brown eyes and a merry little red and white smile. Maida christened her âthe Robin.â âI boneys that big agate, second,â said the Bogle. âI boneys that little table, second,â said the Robin. âI boneys that knife, third,â said the Bogle. âI boneys that little chair, third,â said the Robin. Finally the Robin marched over to Maidaâs side and the Bogle followed. âTell me about the game you were playing,â Maida said. âI never heard of it before.â ââTainât any game,â the Bogle said. |
