conduct may afford me consoling reflections; and that my administration
may be satisfactory to reasonable and candid men, and finally meet with the approbation of God, the Judge of all.--May his wisdom preside in all our Councils and deliberations, and lead to such decisions as may be happily adapted to confirm and perpetuate the public liberty, and secure the private and personal rights of the citizens from suffering any injury.
