Wholly yours, RICHARD WAGNER DRESDEN, July 1st, 1848 7. MOST ESTEEMED FRIEND, Last night I wrote to Herr von Villen and asked him to talk over and arrange with your lawyer and Herr Meser the affair of the scores, and then to let me have a positive and precise answer. I cannot possibly come to Dresden for the present. May God grant that the state of your affairs turn out to be such as to enable me to offer you my small and much-enfeebled services, being, as I am, Your sincere and devoted admirer and friend, F. LISZT WEYMAR, July 4th, 1848 8. |
