1.10 The Gospel

LK 1:1-4

1 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the
things which have been fulfilled among us, 2 just as they were
delivered to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and
ministers of the word, 3 it seemed good to me also, having carefully
investigated all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly
account, most excellent Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the
certainty of the things which you have been taught.

1.20 God Became Man in Jesus Christ

JN 1:1-18

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things were
made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made. 4 In
him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in
the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came
for a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all might believe
through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness of the
light. 9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into
the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him,
and the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own did
not receive him. 12 But to all who received him, to those who believed
in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-13 who were
born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man,
