prudence will never degenerate into cunning, nor our simplicity
become blindness to dangers. The Christian armour and arms are meek, unconquerable patience, and Christ-likeness, To resist is to be beaten; to endure unretaliating is to be victorious. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18.
