Butter, 1/2 cup
Honey, 1 cup
Egg, 1
Sour milk, 1/2 cup
Soda, 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger, 1/2 teaspoon
Flour, 4 cups

Rub the butter and honey together; add the egg well beaten, then the sour
milk and the flour sifted with the soda and spices. Bake in a shallow pan.
